The Story of a Photographer

My name is Kim Stevenson and I was born and raised in Iowa. I am a wife and mom of two young kids who are heavily evolved in extra curricular activities. Through photography, I have been able to slow time down just a little bit by freezing the moments in time with my kids. My goal as a photographer is for us to have fun and enjoy life's moment, so that we can freeze those feelings in time to hold onto just a little bit longer.

I have been interested in photography since I was little, and started my photog adventure by submitting photos for 4H projects at the county fair. I continued learning about photography through yearbook in high school which prompted my interest in a graphic design degree. I went on to college to achieve a Bachelors of Art in Graphic Design, and worked a corporate job for 10 years doing photography and brochure layouts. Oh Snap Photography started in 2016 as a side hustle and has quickly turning into much more.
